ShowMed continually recruit First Aid, IHCD Ambulance Technicians and State Registered Paramedics, Nurses and Doctors throughout the UK.
Our minimum standard for First Aid is FREC Level 3 or Rescue Trauma and Casualty Care (RTACC) Level 3 (equivalent qualifications will be assessed on merit). We especially welcome applicants from Medical Students and Student Paramedics and Nurses; however, you will be expected to obtain the minimum qualification before you are able to work on an event.
Emergency Medical Technicians must be IHCD, FREUC5 or AAP qualified with blue light training to staff our ambulances.
We do employ FREC Level 4 and SALM Qualified persons as EMT1 staff however they will not work on our ambulances.
We also employ Emergency Care Assistant grade staff, however, you must have a Blue Light driving qualification and a FREC Level 4 to work at this grade for us.
Nurse grade staff need to be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council and have recent Emergency Department/Trauma Centre experience.
We welcome Doctors who are registered with the General Medical Council and have recent Emergency Department experience. We cannot utilise Foundation level Doctors on our events. Applications from Doctors that have undertaken the PHECC & MIMMS training are especially welcomed
